Self-publishing
can be a smart choice for writers. It's cost-effective, relatively fast,
pays much better than standard royalty contracts, and lets you maintain
control over the publishing process. So why are scriptwriters not making
their own movies?
All you need is a
screenwriter to translate your script into a shooting script, a director of
photography, a small crew with lighting, sound and camera expertise, a
script supervisor to keep things moving, and a managing director to rule
them all.
And you need
cameras, lights, sound recording gear, prop and set design, costuming, and
you have to feed everyone on the crew.
Self-publishing a
book is a bit easier.
This is where we
come in. MannMade Digital Video will manage and direct your movie, all you
need to provide is the manuscript and the funding.
How much
funding? We can work within practically any budget, but the number of
variables is almost infinite. Your biggest expense will be the production
costs. How big a crew is needed, location fees and expenses, props,
costumes. We will develop a budget together as the project proceeds.
