Wedding Videography - Prices
We don’t just point a camera and shoot. We create a documentary worthy of your
day. Prices begin at $3,000 for a
local production. If a full-day documentary is not appropriate to your event or
your budget, we can offer a few, less expensive alternatives: We shoot – you edit
If you are able to edit your own video and just need cameras
and videographers, we have a deal for you.
The $500 Wedding Video
For $500 we will provide one camera and videographer for up to
three hours at your event. At the end
of the event, you get the tapes. We
strongly recommend two videographers ($400 additional) or at the least, a
second camera ($100 additional). The $400 Reception Video
For $400 we will provide one
camera and a videographer for up to three hours at your reception. A reception video covers the cake cutting,
the toast and first dance, and the garter and bouquet toss. The video
will include the guests' dancing while the bride and groom are on the floor
and optionally, guest comments. At the
end of the event, you get the tapes. Lighting ConsiderationsWe do not normally use on-camera lights if it
can be avoided. They can be distracting and produce a "deer in the
headlights” expression on the guests. Our cameras are excellent in
low-light conditions and if you can read the menu, then the existing
lighting is probably OK. Editing and DVD ProductionDid a relative or friend videotape your wedding? Is your wedding video on VHS tape? We can take your existing tapes and add
motion to still photos (called the “Ken Burns” effect in the video industry)
and produce a new DVD with menus and chapter points. Our studio rate is $85 per hour. No wedding video?10th, 25th or 50th wedding
anniversary coming up? Odds are that
you only have your wedding album of your event memories. We can take that album of photos, scan
them, then make a wedding video complete with music for you to enjoy at your
anniversary celebration. Search for other VideographersIf you are looking for an edited and packaged solution, but
